HOW TO SCHEDULE SPECIAL PICK-UPS

Special pick-ups of large items that can't fit in your trashcans, or trash that exceeds the 50 pound weight limit, can be arranged by calling (302) 576-3878.

WHAT QUALIFIES FOR SPECIAL PICK-UPS?

Bulk items such as furniture, appliances*, cardboard boxes, bagged leaves or grass cuttings.

*Refrigerator doors must be removed.

WHAT DOESN'T QUALIFY?

Tires, concrete, paint, building materials, household chemicals, oil tanks or fuel containers and other materials that fall into the
category of hazardous wastes.

The Clean Wilmington Committee will be sponsoring special Hazardous Waste Collections in 2006 in conjunction with the
Delaware Solid Waste Authority (DSWA). Call the DSWA at 1-800-404-7080 for information on how to dispose of these items.
