The Wilmington Comprehensive Development Plan consists of a City-Wide Land Use Plan and 13 individual neighborhood plans which guide growth and development
throughout the City.
Neighborhood plans address the physical land use and zoning issues that are unique
to the individual neighborhood analysis areas. Functional elements which address housing,
transportation and the various types of public facilities are also included.
The updated 2007 plan of the Delaware Avenue / Bancroft Parkway Analysis Area
identifies current land use and zoning conditions within the Analysis Area and makes recommendations that are in accordance with the community’s desires for future growth and development.
