Wilmington is more energized than ever, attracting people who live and work in the City, as well as enthusiastic visitors from across the state and throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Few citywide cultural arst festivals and projects anywhere can match the momentum of Wilmington's popular showcase of first-class performing and fine arts projects and events, which include:

with First Night, Inc.

Cityfest, Inc., a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation, solicits sponsorships and grants that subsidize the City of Wilmington's financial and staffing contributions to arts and cultural programs. The Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs and other city departments, along with volunteer community input and assistance, provides project staff. Cityfest, Inc. and the City of Wilmington, through the Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs, are committed to providing leadership in integrating arts and culture into the socioeconomic life of the community.
