Bobby L. Cummings, Chief of Police
The Wilmington Police Department is authorized to deploy up to 320 officers in motor vehicles, on foot, and on bicycle in order to protect and serve the citizens of the city. It recently joined the ranks of 350 other departments nationwide in achieving operations accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies.

Child Support Enforcement
The Wilmington Police Department supports the Delaware Division of Child Support Enforcement in their effort to locate individuals who are WANTED FOR FAILURE TO PAY CHILD SUPPORT in Delaware.
Delaware Crime Stoppers
Wilmington Police reminds citizens that providing substantial information to police about a crime or a criminal that leads to an arrest may qualify for cash rewards of up to $1,000 through Delaware Crime Stoppers.
