Today, January 4, 2008 at approximately 3:20 p.m., Wilmington Police responded to the 800 block of W. 6th Street in regards to a shooting victim. There, officers located a 17 year old male victim from Wilmington, who had collapsed. He was suffering from possibly two gunshot wounds. Paramedics arrived and transported the victim to the Christiana Hospital where he is currently undergoing surgery. He is listed in critical condition.
Detectives eventually located the scene of the shooting at 5th & Montgomery Streets. At this time there is no suspect information.
