Trafficking Heroin / Gun Arrest

On Tuesday evening, January 8, 2008 at approximately 9:50 p.m., the Wilmington Police SWAT team along with Operation Safe Streets officers, concluded an investigation with the execution of a search warrant at 1200 Beech Street.

A search of the residence revealed:

• 4.11 grams Heroin stamped ("Urgent");
• 42.5 grams Marijuana;
• 1-12g sawed off shotgun;
• 1 .25 cal semi automatic handgun;
• 3 rounds .25 cal ammunition;
• 8 rounds .32 cal ammunition; and
• 2 digital scales, packaging material.

Arrested were:

Rivera, Rebecca, WFH, 05/08/85, 1200 block Beech Street, Wilmington, DE 19805

Rivera, Misael, WMH, 11/01/89, 200 block N. Harrison Street, Wilmington, DE 19805

They were charged with Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, Possession of a firearm by persons prohibited, Possession of a destructive weapon, Trafficking heroin, PWID heroin, Possession of heroin, Possession of Marijuana, Conspiracy 2nd, Maintaining a dwelling for drugs and Possession of drug paraphernalia.

Misael Rivera was transported to Young Prison for lack of $28,000.00 bail.

Rebecca Rivera was Transported to the Woman’s Correctional Facility for lack of $2,000 bail.
