This morning, Monday, January 14, 2008 at approximately 8:00 a.m., Wilmington Police responded to a report of an 8 year Wilmington old boy being approached by a suspicious man. The victim in this case reports that he was at his bus stop at the corner of 8th & Spruce Street, when a man driving a black SUV stopped at the traffic light. According to the victim, the suspect, described as a black male with a black beard and wearing a blue shirt told the boy to “come over and get in the truck”. The victim immediately ran home to tell his mother. The SUV was also described as having a red letter “H” on the hood.
