Sex Offender Wanted

Wilmington Police Detectives are asking the public’s assistance in locating 30-year-old Ibe N. Lyles who has failed to re-register as a sex offender. His last known address was in the 2600 block of N. Jefferson Street. Detectives also advise that Lyles is currently wanted by the New Castle County Superior Court for failing to appear for arraignment to answer charges for a felony assault by abuse of a child. In that case, Lyles is suspected of breaking both legs of his 2 month old son.

If anyone has information on the whereabouts of this suspect, please call any police agency or 911. The Detective investigating this incident is Wilmington Police Detective Brian Cross at 576-3606.
