Bank Robbery 901 N. Market Street

Wilmington Police detectives are investigating a robbery which occurred this morning at the PNC Bank located at 901 N. Market Street at approximately 11:02 a.m.. At that time, the suspect walked into the branch and handed a teller a note demanding money. There was no weapon displayed. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash and he fled in an unknown direction. There are no surveillance photos to distribute at this time. They will be released as they become available.

The suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion between the ages of 25-35 yrs. He was approximately 5’7” tall last seen wearing a black knit hat and a black hooded sweatshirt.

Update

After interviewing witnesses and viewing surveillance tapes, detectives believe that today’s suspect is the same suspect in the January 11, 2008 robbery of the same branch. Below are the photographs from that robbery, as today’s are not clear enough to publish.
