Mayor's Internship Program

Mayor Dennis P. Williams is offering internships to undergraduate, graduate, technical, or trade students in the City of Wilmington’s Finance, Constituent Services, and Public Works Departments.

2015 Summer Youth Employment Program

Session 1 Registration: Tuesday, March 31 to Tuesday, April 28
First Lottery: Friday, May 1

Session 2 Registration: Tuesday, May 12 to Saturday, May 30
Second Lottery: Friday, June 5.

2015 Green Jobs Program

The Green Jobs program is a 5-week employment program for City of Wilmington residents that provides participants with hands-on outdoor environmental work, career exploration, exposure to environmental issues, and a mentoring component. Participants who are 14 to 21 years old will work 25 hours per week and earn minimum wage.
