Department of Public Works Is on the Scene of Water Main Break in 400-Block of North Clayton Street
Repairs will be completed this afternoon; motorists are asked to avoid the area
The Department of Public Works is currently on the scene of a water main break in the vicinity of 411 North Clayton Street in Wilmington, and the street is closed to traffic at this time.
About a dozen customers in the surrounding area are currently without water, but St. Francis Hospital, located at 701 North Clayton Street, is unaffected. The Department of Public Works expects the repairs to take between four and six hours to complete, and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible until further notice.
