Friends of Wilmington Parks, Delaware State Parks Present “LIVE! IN THE PARKS: 2019 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES”

Mayor Purzycki is pleased to share the following information from Friends of Wilmington Parks and Delaware State Parks about a FREE summer concert series. The Mayor encourages citizens to enjoy the concerts, which offer music and fun for the entire family.

Friends of Wilmington Parks, Delaware State Parks Present “LIVE! IN THE PARKS: 2019 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES”

FREE concerts will be held in Rockford Park and at Brandywine Park’s Sugar Bowl each Monday and Wednesday, from June 24 to August 21 

The Friends of Wilmington Parks in Partnership with Delaware State Parks Presents “LIVE! IN THE PARKS: 2019 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES, June 24 – August 21 in Rockford and Brandywine Parks! The series kicks off this evening at Rockford Tower with neo-roots band The Quixote Project.

Feel free to bring pets, picnic baskets and lawn chairs to our free Summer Concert Series in Rockford Park on Monday evenings and in Brandywine Park at the Sugar Bowl on Wednesday evenings, from June 24th through August 21st.  All are invited and concessions are available for purchase.

Alcoholic beverages can likewise be purchased at each Sugar Bowl concert and select Rockford Park concerts, often featuring local brews from Wilmington Brew Works & Bellefonte Brewing Company.

Delaware State Parks
The Division of Parks and Recreation, part of the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), operates and maintains 16 state parks and related preserves and greenways throughout Delaware.
