City Government Offices Will Be Closed Monday, February 17 for Presidents Day; Trash Collection Schedule is Modified
Wilmington City government offices will be closed on Monday, February 17, 2020, for the City’s observance of Presidents Day. As a result, the Department of Public Works’ Sanitation Division will collect recyclables on a modified holiday schedule:
- Monday, February 17: Trash will not be collected due to the holiday
- Tuesday, February 18: Trash will be collected East of I-95
- Wednesday, February 19: Trash will be collected West of I-95
Recycling collections will occur as regularly scheduled next week, which is Thursday, February 20 for areas east of I-95 and on Friday, February 21 for areas west of I-95.
