The City of Wilmington, in partnership with the Rysheema J. Dixon Foundation, City Council, Council Member Latisha L. Bracy, and other city partners, invites the community to join us for the Youth Block Party tomorrow, Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Rodney Square, 1000 N. Market St.

This family-friendly Grand Finale event runs from 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM and will feature food, music, games, and community fun for all ages. The celebration is part of our Play Streets initiative, bringing neighbors together to create safe and welcoming spaces for youth and families.

The event will also be held in loving memory of Rysheema Dixon, whose legacy continues to inspire unity and community service across Wilmington.

We encourage everyone to come out, bring friends and family, and celebrate the spirit of community in downtown Wilmington.
