City Government Offices Will Be Closed Tuesday, November 11 for Veterans Day; Trash Collection Schedule is Modified

Veterans Day Sanitation Schedule 2025

 

Wilmington City government offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, for Veterans Day. As a result, the Department of Public Works’ Sanitation Division will collect trash on a modified holiday schedule:

  • Monday, November 10: East of I-95 trash collection
  • Tuesday, November 11: City holiday / NO collection
  • Wednesday, November 12: West of I-95 trash collection
  • Thursday, November 13: East of I-95 recyclables collection
  • Friday, November 14: West of I-95 recyclables collection
