City Government Offices Will Be Closed Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day; Collection Schedule is Modified

Wilmington government offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, for Memorial Day. As a result, the Department of Public Works’ Sanitation Division will collect trash and recyclables on a modified holiday schedule.
 
The modified holiday schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, May 25: City Holiday / No Collection
  • Tuesday, May 26: East of I-95 trash collection
  • Wednesday, May 27: West of I-95 trash collection
  • Thursday, May 28: East of I-95 recyclable collection
  • Friday, May 29: West of I-95 recyclable collection
