Mayor Carney Announces Senior Thanksgiving Ball
WILMINGTON - The Mayor’s Office of Constituent Services will begin selling tickets for the City’s Senior Thanksgiving Ball on Friday, September 11 at 5:30 pm at the City County Building. Due to high demand, tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis for $30 per person. Tables seat up to eight guests.
Seniors looking to purchase a ticket must be 55 years of age or older and present a photo ID.
About the Senior Ball
A beloved Wilmington tradition, the Thanksgiving Senior Ball celebrates the city’s seniors with dinner, dancing, and live entertainment. The Ball is scheduled for Sunday, November 1 at the Chase Center on the Riverfront. Doors open at 4:00 PM. Tickets and formal attire are required.
The event is sponsored by the Mayor’s Aging Advisory Council.
