Play Streets Wilmington - July 14, 2022 at at 2200 Monroe Street

Over 65 community members joined us as we hosted our second Play Streets event on Thursday, July 14 at 2200 N. Monroe Street. The activities featured were basketball, tennis, an inflatable game with the Delaware Blue Coats and golf with First Tee of Delaware. We also brought bikes, cornhole, hula hoops, sidewalk chalk, double dutch and jump ropes to the community. Our special event was a racing competition where kids faced off against one another racing down the block. Special thanks to the Parks and Recreation Director Ian Smith for coordinating the competition. Thanks to Urban Acres, Network Connect, and DJ Tim Dogg for their support in making this event successful!
