ICC Building Codes

The adoption of the following codes was approved by Wilmington City Council on October 3, 2019 and are effective October 4, 2019.

The ICC codes meet the standards of today’s construction industry and ensure the greatest level of safety for all occupants that live and build structures in Wilmington.

They promotes advances in technology, thus allowing new and safer methods that can be utilized to maximize efforts for safer and more economically feasible structures.
