We'd like to know your thoughts on the draft bike network map.
We are pleased to share this draft of the city bike route map that was created based on data analysis and your community input. A list of the types of bike infrastructure is included. Please share your thoughts about the map in the form below.
In 2008, WILMAPCO published the Wilmington Bicycle Plan. The Plan was developed in coordination with the City of Wilmington, a steering committee, and the general public. Bike Wilmington, through the Department of Planning, is currently working on updating this Plan. The Department of Planning is conducting community outreach to civic associations and other stakeholder groups across the City of Wilmington. We are anticipating this outreach will be completed by the end of spring. As part of that outreach, we are conducting brief presentations to the community regarding the Bicycle Plan and asking community members to complete a brief survey. Please see below for links to view the presentation and the bicycle survey.

Every four years, the Wilmington Area Planning Council (WILMAPCO) updates its Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). The RTP is a fundamental document for our region (New Castle County and Cecil County). Not only does it outline our region’s long-range transportation vision, it also lists all future projects that we anticipate in the next 20 to 30 years.
Now is your opportunity to influence the document that will guide transportation decision-making for the next twenty years!
To kick-off the plan, WILMAPCO is holding a Virtual Public Workshop on Friday, November 2 from 12-1pm. Login from anywhere to learn about and have your say in our transportation future!

We would greatly appreciate you forwarding the flyer to your distribution lists; printing and displaying at your facility, neighborhood, or other community hubs; or posting to your website, event calendars, social media, your Next Door page, or other listservs to help spread the word and increase participation.

Thank you, and we look forward to having you on November 2nd!
