The City of Wilmington offers several transportation-related applications for residents and businesses. Street Closing Permit
Submit this application to request a temporary street closure for purposes such as construction, block parties, or large equipment access. A traffic plan and advance notice are required. Must be submitted at least 14 days before the event.

Required to operate outdoor dining on public sidewalks. Includes submission of site plan, furniture layout, insurance, and a $100 seasonal fee. Valid annually from April 1 to October 31.
