Community Right-to-Know
The federal Emergency Planning and Community Right-To-Know Act (EPCRA) created a network for chemical emergency planning and promotes public awareness and participation in managing chemical risks in the community.
Under EPCRA, a Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) has been established for the City of Wilmington, Delaware. Public attendance and participation are encouraged.
Meeting Schedule
The Wilmington LEPC meets the second Friday of the month at 10:00 a.m., January, March, May, July, September and November.

The emergency response plan, material safety data sheets, and inventory forms have been submitted under EPCRA. Follow-up emergency notices may subsequently be issued. Members of the public who wish to review any such plan, sheet, form, or follow-up notice should contact the LEPC. If you would like to know about facilities in your community that use or store hazardous chemicals, or have questions about related community emergency plans, contact your LEPC.
