The Wilmington Police Department requests the assistance of the public to help locate individuals who are the subject of an active Gold Alert.
For each Gold Alert issued by our department, we issue a public release through Nixle and on our social media platforms. We also issue subsequent public releases and social media posts when a subject is located, or if we obtain additional information that can assist in locating the missing person.
About Delaware's Gold Alert Program
The state's Gold Alert Program is established under Title 11 of the Delaware State Code to assist in the location of a missing person who is a senior citizen, a suicidal person, or a person with a disability.

Below are all active Gold Alerts that have been issued by our department.
Anyone with information about the location of these individuals is encouraged to contact police at (302) 654-5151 or by dialing 9-1-1.

Carmella Potts (Issued February 1, 2024) Carmella Potts is 60 years old and was last seen on January 26th, at approximately 8:30 p.m., in the 2900 block of Conrad Street. Carmella is described as a black female, 6’1” tall, approximately 170 lbs., and was last seen wearing a long white coat, and a black knit hat. |

Alan Tyer (Issued April 26, 2024) Alan Tyer is 66 years old and was last seen on April 23, in the 200 block of North Lombard Street. Alan is described as a white male, and was last seen wearing a yellow knit hat and khaki coat.

Harmoni Spriggs (Issued July 27, 2026) Harmoni Spriggs is 15 years old and was last seen on July 27th, at approximately 9:30 a.m., in the 800 block of North West Street. Spriggs is described as a black female, 5’7” tall, weighing approximately 131 lbs, with brown eyes, braided black hair and a birthmark on her right cheek. Spriggs was last seen wearing a pink scarf, a black shirt, black shorts and carrying a black Nike backpack.
